10 luxury motorhomes to marvel at - champagne, pool and bling-bling

Shiny and huge, the luxury motorhome with the dimensions of a truck covers the mountains. About the Pitch burst in like a silver Darth Vader. Now, first of all, get a wine from the chilled drinks bar and into the whirlpool on the roof terrace.

Then float the Porsche out of the tailgate. Oh no, you shouldn’t drink and drive! But should you buy such a luxury liner such a luxury liner? Is it a dream, a curiosity or complete nonsense? Decide for yourself – we present you a selection of the most luxurious motorhomes in the world!

The eleMMent Palazzo Superior from Marchi Mobile

“Currently recognized in over 190 countries as the most luxurious and outstanding motorhome,” lets manufacturer Marchi Mobile know about its eleMMent Palazzo Superior announces.

Make a big splash instead of just spilling champagne! 12 meters long, 6 meters high (including roof terrace), 5 meters wide when stationary with slide-outs and 2.50 meters while driving.

With 68 square meters larger than some rental apartments. Total weight: 28 tons. With this, you can sometimes bring the one or other bridge to collapse.

The interior has, in addition to the usual rooms such as kitchen, bathroom and living area, a spa area with experience rain shower, a multimedia room with design audio systems and ambient light and a sky lounge with automatic sunroof.

The king size bed in the bedroom is handmade by the court supplier of the English Queen. Little things like a dressing table, an ice cube machine and an airplane armature as an on-board clock are almost secondary. The 6-cylinder in-line engine produces up to 600 hp. How else could you get rid of this white gold bar on wheels?

The Vario Mobil Alcove 1200

Ah, such a small alcove has already something! Even if you mistake it for a truck when you look in the rearview mirror. The Vario Mobil Alcove 1200 is in fact built on truck chassis from Mercedes and MAN.

The luxury liner weighs 25 tons without payload, is 12 meters long, 2.5 meters wide and just under 4 meters high. With a fresh water tank of 500 liters and a waste water tank of 400 liters, you are supplied for a while, as long as you are not constantly under the pentagonal shower with real glass door.

Several bay windows can be extended hydraulically as a slide-out. Thus, there is enough space for illuminated showcases with mirrored back walls, various espresso machines, designer flooring and several flat-screen TVs.

There is also roof air conditioning and a garage inside the vehicle with space for a sedan. Just in case you don’t feel like driving around with 25 tons.

The Volkner Mobil Performance S LaFerrari

12 meters long, 18 tons gross vehicle weight and a Ferrari in the “belly” – at Volkner Mobil Volkner Mobil is known for not spilling the beans, but for really making the most of it. The Volkner Mobil Performance S LaFerrari is a rolling apartment of the absolute upper class.

High-gloss furniture, oak floorboards, Alcantara-covered walls, a deep pile carpet and a bar with comfortable stools bring luxury but also a cozy atmosphere to the living area – which can even be extended by up to 5 square meters using the slide-out system.

The spacious bathroom offers a shower and a heated toilet seat. Sleeping is in the free-standing double bed, which at 1.80 x 2 meters offers more than enough space for romantic or relaxing hours.

However, the real highlight is hidden in the substructure. There is a middle garage with hydraulic loading platform. With the LaFerrari with 800 hp, which is also called the “biggest Ferrari ever”, envious looks on and around the campsite are guaranteed!

The luxury special model including Ferrari is available for a mere 5.3 million euros. Those who want something “cheaper” can do without the sports racer and take home the Performance S for a good 2 million euros.

The Magellano Edition 1

“We take inspiration from the best solutions in other innovative industries, such as yacht and boat building,” explains Magellano, manufacturer of Luxury Motorhomes . A 3D configurator for the individual setup was yesterday – the company prefers to look for the personal conversation to fine-tune the monster truck.

That sounds almost as down-to-earth as the equipment range of the Edition 1 In addition to the bathroom, kitchen and living area, there is a spacious salon and a cellar that can accommodate four motorcycles. In the kitchen, a large refrigerator with a freezer compartment keeps dinner fresh, and in the bathroom, the shower with an illuminated base plate beams at you.

In case someone wants to steal them, the 180° Hemispheric Surveillance Camera is there for you to control via iPhone. It probably reacts insultingly to other cell phone manufacturers. The floors are woven vinyl. Unfortunately, I could not find out if the court supplier of the English Queen personally crawled around on his knees for this as well.

The Edition 1 is 11.6 meters long, 2.5 meters wide and almost 4 meters high. The unladen weight is 16 tons. 2 tons of lobster and oysters can still be loaded up to the total permissible mass. Inside, 30 square meters of living space await.

The Morelo Empire Liner

Why should a luxury motorhome actually suffice? The company Morelo asks itself the same and adds: “We give you with the Morelo Empire Liner something even more precious: the good feeling of being at home.”

Those who think money can’t buy happiness will now learn that this good feeling can be had for a price between 444,400 and 554,400. The vehicle is just under 11 meters long, 2.50 meters wide and 2.80 meters high. The total mass is between 10 and 15 tons, depending on the chassis.

The smooth side walls throughout make the Empire Liner look perfectly shaped. Inside there are not just lamps – no, there is a whole lighting concept! The underfloor heating ensures that no one has to freeze after the spa – a special towel dryer radiator ensures that the towels are also fine.

Although there are no artificial stars in the shower, the panoramic window above the bed allows a view of the night sky. You will then lie on the multi-zone mattress with Watergel surface. Queensize, of course. By the way, the portable garage can fit 180 crates of mineral water. Just because. In case there is no Ferrari at hand.

The Futuria Sports + Spa by Most Mobile Specials

But now it’s time to put an end to all those towel dryers and illuminated shower floors! The Futuria Sports + Spa starts where other luxury liners end – with a whirlpool on the nearly 11-meter-long roof terrace.

If you look inside the truck, the idea that you are in a vehicle disappears. 10 people fit in the glamorous lounge with white leather armchairs. Plus two LCD screens, fully automatic coffee machines and a fully equipped kitchen. Here, stock market prices from all over the world can be conveniently discussed during a meeting lasting several hours.

Once the business part is over, it’s off to the triangular pool on the roof with expansive views. Expensive speedsters of any type and size fit into the integrated garage. Parking is done by winch. The bedroom is air-conditioned, has a LED starry sky and the walls are padded. In case you ever briefly freak out with so much luxury.

15 meters long, the Futuria Sports + Spa is 3.60 meters high and 2.50 meters wide. By the way, Most Mobile Specials mainly produces trolleys for promotional purposes.

The Concorde Centurion

When Concorde Reisemobile speaks of the “single-family home with underground garage”, the Centurion which, at 12 meters long, 2.5 meters wide and 3.8 meters high, has a gross vehicle weight of 26 tons.

Since luxury motorhomes are sometimes referred to as “land yachts,” it’s fitting that the Centurion’s floor looks like a ship‘s deck. The nappa leather seats are thickly upholstered like executive chairs. People who do not like to make decisions, get a crisis when choosing between 100 different shades for the cover.

The roof is partially accessible, the slide-outs are heated and a light canopy provides indirect lighting throughout the motorhome. In the Havana Lounge you can relax in infinitely adjustable recliners and enjoy an aperitif from the bar. A media center with a huge TV is mandatory.

The Hymermobil B-Class MasterLine

Open the flap and load through. This is possible with the Hymermobil B-Class MasterLine . The compartment in the floor of the luxury mobile can be opened from both sides and has additional access from the inside. This is a great way to load a surfboard, where you can quickly check if it’s still there in the middle of the night without having to go out again. For example.

In the living room, you can put your feet up on a thickly upholstered bench with a particularly wide counterpart. The chic round bar table can be extended if necessary. If you want to do the whole thing late at night (or look for the surfboard in the dark), the discreet night lighting shows the way.

Incidentally, the Hymermobil B-Class Masterline has won a 2020 German Design Award won. It is 7.8 meters long, 2.35 meters wide and just under 3 meters high. The price is around 160,000 euros. Crazy bargain!

The flair of Niesmann + Bischoff

Just how far some luxury liners have moved from classic camping vehicles to works of art is also shown by the Flair from Niesmann + Bischoff. The motorhome has already shone at several design awards in recent years, such as the Red Dot Design Award 2015 or the German Design Award 2017.

About 22 square meters of living space are at your disposal in the Flair. It is 8.4 meters long, 2.3 meters wide and 3.3 meters high. The total mass is about 7 tons. Together with the Hymermobil almost a shoebox against the other rolling fairytale castles.

But it is precisely because of this – and less steel and marble – that I have the feeling for the first time of seeing a luxury motorhome with a touch of coziness. Small wooden steps lead up to the bed on the left and right, and a seating area with checkered cushions invites you to breakfast. Retractable belt supports eliminate the need for a room divider and the driver’s seat swivels 180 degrees into the interior to become a TV armchair.

The rain shower splashes in the bathroom – of course – and 400 kilos can be loaded into the rear garage. A Porsche won’t fit in it, but both the Flair and the highliner and Hymermobil show pretty well that luxury and design don’t always have to be 12 meters long and weigh 20 tons.

The Terra Wind from CAMI

The luxury camper Terra Wind from Cool Amphibious Manufacturers International (CAMI) is 13 meters long and weighs 18 tons. In fact, it can be easily steered from the road into a river or lake. Not even the wheels of the Terra Wind fold in for this.

The driver decides via joystick whether he wants to use the road or bathing mode. When the motorhome touches water, it is automatically held by floats on the side and propelled by two bronze propellers about half a meter.

You can travel at speeds of up to 135 kilometers per hour on the road and 13 kilometers per hour in the water. The wheelbase is a fluffy 6.40 meters and the turbo diesel engine from Caterpillar produces 330 hp from a displacement of 7.2 liters. That would make any German regulatory authority break out in a cold sweat. And every dilapidated highway bridge together.

Terra Wind also features a sound and entertainment system with plasma TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator, a bathtub with whirlpool function, a washer and dryer, and a floating deck almost two meters tall.

Luxury motorhomes: thoughts at the end

Of course, in addition to the 10 luxury motorhomes we’ve presented to you here, there are plenty of other models to join the fleet of chrome, glitz and glory. These include among others the Furrion Elysium and the BlissMobil .

Besides all the fantastic features, there are a few things that are questionable: you need a truck driver’s license for many luxury liners, and height and weight preclude many routes. Some vehicles don’t even get past 80 km/h, and the fuel consumption makes whole meadows of flowers wilt in horror.

The question remains: dream, curiosity or complete nonsense?
