1st place: Campingpark Kühlungsborn
For the third time in a row, the Kühlungsborn Camping Park in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern wins first place in the camping.info ranking. The 5-star campsite is located directly on the Baltic Sea and has a total of 653 pitches on a 12-hectare site.
With a wide range of leisure activities, a good infrastructure and a high standard of hygiene, the camping park impresses its guests. It is particularly suitable for families with children, couples and senior citizens. This campsite is also recommended for vacationers with dogs.
2nd place: Rosenfelder Strand Ostsee Camping
The second most popular campsite in Germany is the campsite at Rosenfelder Strand in Schleswig-Holstein. The campsite scores highly in terms of cleanliness, infrastructure and friendliness.
It has also been recognized as particularly suitable for families with children, partly due to the indoor and outdoor play options. The campsite is also described in the reviews as particularly dog-friendly and even has an agility course in addition to a separate area for dogs and a dog beach.
3rd place: CampingPlatz Ecktannen
In third place among the most popular campsites in Germany is the unspoilt CampingPlatz Ecktannen . This is located on the Müritz within the Mecklenburg Lake District in the immediate vicinity of the Müritz National Park. Fourth place also goes to northern Germany to the Baltic Sea campsite run by the Heide family . This site, which is praised for being particularly well-kept and clean, is located north of Kiel directly on the Baltic Sea. It is therefore particularly suitable for swimming, diving and sailing. However, walks along the cliffs of Waabs and cycling tours in the surrounding area are also recommended.

This is also located on the water, on the 25-hectare Stemmer See lake with a 500-meter-long sandy beach near the castle lake, where water skiing and wakeboarding are offered.
The site is particularly recommended for swimming, sailing, hiking and cycling, as well as for relaxing during a wellness stay. The cleanliness, especially of the sanitary facilities, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the online services are positively emphasized in the reviews.
