The Slovenian camping vehicle manufacturer Adria Mobil has expanded its portfolio with the Adria TWIN 600 SX and 600 SBX models. We also present a design study that offers a foretaste of future vans from Adria.
Adria TWIN 600 SX and 600 SBX
With the TWIN 600 SX and the TWIN 600 SBX, Adria is offering a new camper layout. Both versions are available as TWIN SUPREME, and the 600 SX is also available as TWIN SPORTS. Fiat Ducato or Citroën Jumper with a vehicle length of 6 meters are available as base vehicles.
Living and sleeping area
The special feature of these models is the electric fold-down bed, which provides a flexible living and sleeping area. When not in use, the bed is raised to the ceiling at the touch of a button so that the space can be used for other purposes.
The sofa in the rear of the van is an inviting place to relax and the variously sized cupboards provide space for stowing luggage.
Kitchen and bathroom
In addition, an extendable table with two additional belt-secured seats is integrated behind the driver’s cab of the Adria Twin 600, which can be used as a dining table and also previously as a work surface for cooking. Conveniently, the kitchen is right next door. In addition to a sink and two gas hobs, there is also a fridge and plenty of storage space.
You can choose from different bathroom variants for the Adria Twin 600, depending on your own requirements. For example, there is a more compact and functional bathroom that takes up less space, as well as a so-called duplex bathroom design with a pivoting shower wall and more space.
Equipment
As an option, the TWIN SUPREME can be fitted with a panoramic roof window, the so-called SunRoof XL. This allows more natural light into the interior. The variant also offers more privacy, security and better ventilation.
Depending on the model, a Webasto or Truma heating system is installed to ensure comfortable temperatures. An air conditioning system can also be installed if required. The Adria TWIN 600 features sophisticated heat and airflow management, including efficient insulation.
The power supply is ensured by optionally available solar modules. This generates energy during the day when the weather is fine. Sockets and USB charging sockets can be used to charge and operate devices in the van.
Design study: Adria TWIN MAX 680 SGX
Adria is currently preparing another model for even larger living spaces. The Adria TWIN MAX 680 is based on the MAN TGE van, which is over 6.8 meters long, and offers plenty of space for maximum comfort. Here too, a fold-down bed, a high-quality interior and innovative functions and systems have been integrated.
Whether and when this vehicle will go into series production is currently unknown.
