At this year's Caravan Salon 2026, we got a close look at the Fendt Bianco Activ 560 SKM. Our impressions from the show floor reveal a well-thought-out overall concept: with this model, Fendt-Caravan is targeting families looking for a generously sized floor plan with a classic layout. The single-axle caravan combines a fixed double bed for the parents, bunk beds for the kids, and a convertible central seating area, adding up to five sleeping spots in total.
Dimensions and weight data
With a total length of 7.72 m (body length: 6.57 m, usable length: 5.76 m) and a total width of 2.50 m, the Fendt Bianco Activ 560 SKM offers a noticeably spacious feel. Maximum height comes in at 2.66 m, with 1.98 m of standing height inside. The awning rail measurement, depending on the weight or chassis variant, ranges between 1,029 cm and 1,039 cm.
The model comes as standard with a technically permissible gross weight of 1,800 kg. With a mass in running order of around 1,495 kg (tolerance range 1,420 to 1,570 kg), that leaves a calculated payload of about 305 kg. If you need more headroom, you can opt for a factory upgrade to 1,900 kg or 2,000 kg — this weight upgrade, known as "Auflastung," raises the maximum permitted gross weight of the caravan.
Chassis and body
For the chassis, Fendt relies on proven AL-KO technology. Standard equipment includes a fully galvanized lightweight system chassis with Euro axle system, the AL-KO AAA self-adjusting brake, and the AKS 3004 safety coupling. Galvanized stabilizer jacks with extended crank supports, plus a jockey wheel with load indicator, ensure stable standing and easy handling.
On the road, the caravan rolls on 205/70 R 15 C low-profile tires mounted on black polished alloy wheels, with a white impact protector and drawbar cover completing the look. A 100 km/h type approval is already included from the factory.
The body is built using a sturdy sandwich construction with 31 mm wall thickness, a 39 mm roof, and a 47 mm floor, with LFI technology used in parts of the front section. The gas struts make the bottle locker lid easy to open, and it locks securely with a three-point latch. Rounding out the exterior are an outside storage flap, tinted double-glazed hopper windows with combi pleated blinds (insect screen and blackout), and a two-stage switchable LED awning light.
Layout and living space
Inside, you'll find a warm "Salvador Eiche" oak furniture décor, paired with your choice of "Pineto" or "Savio" upholstery fabric. The layout is designed with families squarely in mind, flowing seamlessly into distinct functional zones.
The parents' sleeping area sits at the front. The French bed offers plenty of room with a sleeping surface of 1.40 m x 2.00 m. It comes with a high-quality pocket-spring mattress and a slatted frame with fully flexible joint bridges, including a firmness adjustment. Thanks to the built-in lift mechanism, you can raise the bed to access the storage space underneath.
At the very rear, you'll find a separate area for the kids. It features a bunk bed with two sleeping surfaces, each measuring 75 cm x 190 cm. The rear is rounded out with an additional bed surface of 75 cm x 192 cm. A practical folding sliding door gives the kids' area the privacy it needs.
The central seating group sits in the middle of the vehicle. Fitted with ergonomically shaped backrests and high-density seat cushions, it's the go-to spot for meals together. When needed, you can convert this seating area into another sleeping spot for up to two people in just a few steps, offering a surface of 1.10 m or 1.17 m x 2.00 m.
A Dometic MIDI roof hatch with a crank handle brings daylight and steady ventilation into the living area. In the evening, you can set the mood with a well-thought-out 12V LED lighting setup, featuring a two-stage switchable ceiling light, indirect lighting above the ventilated storage compartments, and dimmable reading spotlights in the bedroom.
Kitchen, bathroom, and onboard technology
The kitchenette features a 3-burner gas cooker with automatic ignition, flame failure device, and matte enamel pan support, forming a single unit with the stainless steel sink. Cooling is handled by a slim-tower compressor fridge that opens on both sides, offering 157 l of capacity with the freezer compartment removed. Self-closing kitchen drawers and soft-close storage compartments are part of the range, along with a brass mixer tap.
The bathroom features its own shower cubicle plus a frosted glass hinged window. It comes equipped with a white washbasin, bathroom cabinet, illuminated mirror, and a swivel flush toilet with LED level indicator. Heating and hot water are handled by the built-in gas heater Truma Combi 6 with a digital control panel and integrated 10-liter hot water boiler.
More technical details on the standard equipment
Water supply: Fixed fresh water tank with external filling and level indicator, plus a portable 24 l waste water tank.
Electrics & multimedia: Dual USB-C sockets, TV cable routing (230 V socket), 350 W switching power supply, and fuse box with RCD.

Verdict and price
In practice, the Fendt Bianco Activ 560 SKM turns out to be a well-thought-out, well-equipped family caravan with a premium standard. According to the price list, the base version starts at a recommended retail price of €36,090.00 (incl. 19% VAT, valid for Germany).
