The camping.info Award 2025 has determined the best campsites in Europe and thus offers a reliable guide for all camping enthusiasts. The public award, in which over 55,000 campers submitted more than 110,000 ratings, is characterized by its particular authenticity.
Now in its 14th year, the award takes into account both general guest satisfaction and the topicality of the ratings, which also gives smaller campsites a fair chance in the rankings. Here we present the 3 best campsites in Germany from the camping.info ranking.
1st place: Camping Kühlungsborn
Kühlungsborn Camping Park took the top spot in the camping.info Award 2025 for the fifth time in a row. This modern 5-star campsite in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern impresses with its excellent location directly on the extensive Baltic Sea beach.

2nd place: Rosenfelder Strand Ostsee Camping
Rosenfelder Strand Ostsee Camping achieved 6th place in the overall ranking and is the second best campsite in Germany. It is picturesquely situated directly on the Baltic Sea, north of Lübeck in Schleswig-Holstein. The site is characterized by its well-kept and clean facilities with modernized sanitary facilities.
