Attention

When purchasing the e-vignette for the Czech Republic, please pay attention to official sales portals, including the official state online store, post offices in the Czech Republic, Euro OIl and RoBIN Oil petrol stations and vending machines in border areas. There are repeated attempts at fraud by private providers through other channels, which the Czech Ministry of Transport is investigating.
The toll rates for the route toll, which apply to vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tons, have also risen by around 5 percent in 2025.
Electric cars from Germany drive toll-free after application
Vehicles with alternative drive systems registered in the Czech Republic receive a discount on the toll – this includes electric cars that drive toll-free, plug-in hybrid vehicles (CO₂ emissions < 50 g/km) pay 25 percent of the normal price (eco-price) and vehicles with natural gas or biomethane pay 50 percent of the normal price.
The discounts for electric and hydrogen cars also apply to vehicles registered in Germany – but not automatically. You must apply for a vignette exemption before driving!
