At the past Caravan Salon, French motorhome manufacturer Challenger presented its latest vehicles, including the Challenger X 250 Open Edition. The semi-integrated motorhome is based on the Fiat Ducato and almost looks like a campervan due to its comparatively compact dimensions.
The length is 6.36 m, the width 2.1 m with an interior height of 1.98 m. The weight in running order is 2,920 kg and the maximum permissible mass is 3,500 kg. The exterior is striking and stylish with strong contrasts and red accents.

Living and sleeping
The Challenger X 250 Open Edition 's cab features a panoramic roof hood and swiveling seats. Behind it is a spacious longitudinal seating group with an adjustable table. A total of four belt-secured seats are available. Converted, the seating group is a sleeping option for two people.
Above is the main bed of the camper, an electric lift bed with comfort mattress is used for nightly rest. The lying surface measures 1.4 m x 1.9 m. In the rear part of the bed is another panoramic canopy.
Kitchen
The equipment in the kitchen includes a 150 l compressor refrigerator, a sink and a two-burner stove. Kitchen utensils, dishes, cutlery and food can be stored in the drawers and wall cabinet above.
Bath
The compact bathroom of the Challenger X 250 Open Edition consists of a shower with wooden slatted frame, a sink and a toilet. A spacious mirror and a closet is also available.
Storage space
The rear garage offers ample space for sports equipment, even two bicycles can be transported in it. Above it is integrated closet, the floor of which can be electrically adjusted in height. If the floor is completely lowered, the rear garage disappears, but the closet becomes a full-fledged room.
