Checklist: Initial equipment for caravans & motorhomes

Have you bought a caravan or motorhome and would like to set off with it straight away? Or do you still have to be patient and want to sweeten the waiting time for your dream vehicle with a little shopping spree? Then we have the perfect checklist for your initial outfitting!

Together with our expert Jan Kuckertz, himself a long-time camper and trained specialist in caravan technology, we have compiled this list for you and refined it again and again over the years to make it as easy as possible for you to get started as a camper.

Initial camping equipment checklist

The following equipment is designed for a two- to four-week trip in a caravan or motorhome. The rather extensive initial equipment is only suitable to a limited extent for panel vans, smaller camping vehicles, weekend trips or minimalist adventurers, as we have calculated a little generously in some areas – after all, it should also be a little comfortable. If you want to, you are of course welcome to slim down a little!
