The Greenlander Sherpa 4×4 comes from Greenlander, a manufacturer that originally came from the boatbuilding industry and now produces innovative motorhomes. At the Caravan Salon 2024, the outstanding off-road properties and the use of natural fiber-reinforced plastics impressed visitors.

Technical data
The Greenlander Sherpa 4×4 model, model year 2025, is based on an Iveco chassis. Originally designed as a 7.5 t vehicle, the use of lightweight materials allows the weight to be reduced to a permissible total weight of 5.5 t.
The vehicle dimensions are actually 6.37 m x 2.17 m x 3.2 m, with a wheelbase of 3.78 m. The body is a sandwich construction made from flax fibers and a sandwich core made from recycled PET.
The Sherpa 4×4 is powered by a diesel engine with 176 hp, which is combined with four-wheel drive. The motorhome offers sleeping space for two people and registered seating for two people. According to the manufacturer, a model for four people is currently under development.

Interior
The interior of the Greenlander Sherpa 4×4 is characterized by a bright and friendly design, which is supported by the generous window area. Natural materials with walls made of flax fiber and the lightweight construction also characterize the interior.
In the living area there is a dinette consisting of two benches facing each other with a table measuring 55 cm x 78 cm. The dinette can be converted into a bed with a sleeping area of 1.54 m x 0.78 m, whereby the conversion requires the table to be raised.

Behind this is the actual sleeping area with a 2 m x 1.4 m mattress. The mattress, which can be ordered in two firmness levels (medium-firm and firm), ensures the best sleeping comfort. There is storage space in the large drawer unit under the bed and on the driver’s side to the left above the bed.
The seating area is comfortably upholstered. There are also three cupboards under the ceiling in the living area. There is also a large pull-out drawer under the right-hand bench. There is also a 12 V connection here, e.g. for installing a cool box.
The kitchen, which is located opposite the dinette, has a 1.12 m x 0.622 m worktop with a stainless steel sink and a folding tap. The equipment also includes two gas hobs, a gas oven and a compressor refrigerator with a capacity of 90 liters.

The two wall units and eight drawers under the worktop, whose interior is made of cork, provide space for all kitchen utensils.

The bathroom with Marmoleum flooring has a fixed sink, a hand shower with wall bracket and a composting toilet. Ventilation is provided by a skylight. There is space for cosmetics & co. in the bathroom cabinet with three compartments. The lighting consists of eight adjustable spotlights.

Technology and equipment
The Greenlander Sherpa 4×4 has a fresh water capacity of 110 l inside and 2 x 70 l outside. The two external tanks are insulated and heated. The gray water tank capacity is 70 l. The boiler for hot water holds 10 l. The fresh water pump operates at 18.9 l/min at 5.2 bar. The 50 l gas tank is located under the vehicle. A Truma Combi 6D air heater is installed as the heater.
In terms of connectivity, a 5G Wi-Fi router with dual SIM and the Mastervolt CZone Touch 7 control unit are available. In addition to the 1 x 230 V and 1 x USB-C power connections in the interior, there is also an induction charger in the table of the seating area. There are also 2 x 230 V, 1 x 12 V and 1 x USB-C 100 W power connections in the rear garage.
Optional is underfloor heating as an energy-efficient Alde liquid heating system that provides even heat throughout the vehicle, including heated floors. A Cinderella gas toilet is also offered as an optional extra, which burns waste to provide a clean, odor-free solution.
Exterior
Visually, the Greenlander Sherpa 4×4 is a real expedition vehicle, with a typical off-road box on the back. The walls are also covered with flax fiber on the outside. The insulation is made from recycled PET bottles.

Various off-road add-ons such as an electric cable winch, underride protection plates and a bullbar for additional protection are optional. Awnings, bike racks and roof storage solutions can also be ordered to extend the living space.
Suitable energy solutions for the Greenlander Sherpa 4×4 are also available, whereby the energy system can be customized with additional solar panels, larger batteries and high-performance inverters.
Price and availability
The base price of the Greenlander Sherpa 4×4 is €249,900.00 in the premium segment. The vehicle is currently available for pre-order for the production period November 2025, with various financing and leasing options available.
Conclusion and evaluation
Motorhomes with four-wheel drive and an off-road look are in vogue. The Greenlander Sherpa 4×4 is just right for this. What makes it special: With an efficient design, natural and recycled materials and lightweight construction, Greenlander goes one step further and presents an off-road motorhome with an environmentally friendly concept. However, this comes at a price. With a base price of just under €250,000, the Greenlander Sherpa 4×4 is in the luxury segment.
