Mobilvetta, a renowned manufacturer of Italian motorhomes, presented its latest models in the Mobilvetta Kea compact range at CMT 2025. The vehicles are characterized by their stylish yacht design and innovative technical solutions, which Mobilvetta has always pushed forward in recent years.
Technical data
The Kea Kompakt series comprises the Kea Kompakt 55 and Kea Kompakt 64 NB models, both built in 2025. They are designed as semi-integrated motorhomes and are based on the tried-and-tested Fiat Ducato.
The Kea Kompakt 55 measures 6.36 m in length, while the Kea Kompakt 64 is slightly longer at 6.99 m. Both models have a width of 2.15 m and an external height of 2.85 m.
The unladen weight of the Kea Kompakt 55 is a maximum of 2,860 kg and 2,880 kg for the Kea Kompakt 64 NB, with the technically permissible total weight starting at 3,500 kg.
The range is powered by the Fiat Ducato engine, with a choice of 140 hp or 180 hp, coupled with a manual or optional automatic transmission. Both models have four sleeping berths and four registered seats as well as a driver's cab with modern features such as a touchscreen DAB+ radio and an electric handbrake.
Interior
The interior of the Kea compact models impresses with light-colored design elements that are elegantly contrasted by dark accents. The living area is dominated by high-quality materials that create a luxurious ambience
The seating area consists of a face-to-face lounge with a folding table that can be used flexibly to facilitate access to the cab.
The sleeping areas vary between the models: While the Kea Kompakt 55 offers a fold-down bed above the seating lounge, the Kea Kompakt 64 has single beds in the rear.
The single beds in the Kea Kompakt 64 each offer a sleeping area of 1.98 m x 0.79 m. The Kea Kompakt 64 also has an additional sleeping area in the dinette measuring 2.01 m x 0.63 m. The sleeping area of the fold-down bed in the Kea Kompakt 55 measures a generous 2.04 m x 1.48 m. The additional sleeping area in the dinette measures 1.9 m x 1.4 m.
The kitchen is centrally located in the interior and is equipped with a 150-liter refrigerator, a two-burner stove and plenty of storage space, which makes cooking on the go convenient.
Both models have an integrated bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin, which is positioned differently depending on the model. The Mobilvetta Kea Kompakt 55 has a spacious rear bathroom with a large closet behind it
In the Mobilvetta Kea Kompakt 64, the convertible compact bathroom is to the left of the entrance door. To be able to use the shower, the swivel wall with the washbasin is simply turned to the left.
Technology and equipment
The technological equipment of the Kea compact models includes modern on-board computers and entertainment systems that are controlled via the i.NET X system. Both models are equipped with manual air conditioning in the cab and the Truma Combi 6 diesel heater, which ensure pleasant temperatures.
Water is supplied via large fresh water and waste water tanks as well as an integrated water heater. In terms of safety, both models are equipped with dual airbags, traction and hill descent control, cruise control, tire pressure sensors and other assistance systems to ensure a safe driving experience.
Storage space
Inside, the Kea Kompakt range offers plenty of storage space thanks to well-placed cupboards and variable compartments that can be used flexibly. The closet in the Mobilvetta Kea Kompakt 55 in particular offers plenty of space for storing clothes.
Exterior
The exterior of the Kea compact models is characterized by an elegant design in various colour options that underline the yacht-like character. Special features of the vehicles on display include the optional solar panels, roof racks and sophisticated exterior lighting, which increase the practical use of the vehicles. The robust 16-inch M+S rims and the painted front bumper give the motorhomes a solid look, while the black-rimmed headlights add a modern accent.
Price
The base price for the Kea Kompakt 55 with the Fiat Ducato 2.2 MJ 140 PS starts at €79,490, while the Kea Kompakt 64 NB is available from €78,990. With optional extras and special packages, the total price of the vehicles on display was €85,460 for the Kea Kompakt 55 and €86,630 for the Kea Kompakt 64 NB, including transportation costs and VAT.
