The trend is towards mini-campers with a compact vehicle size and a high level of everyday usability – Nissan was also aware of this. Therefore, such a campervan was designed in cooperation with the motorhome specialist Dethleffs: the Nissan Primestar Seaside by Dethleffs. This is currently on display at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf.

With a length of 5.08 m, a width of 1.96 m and a height of 2.04 m, it is particularly maneuverable. Despite its size, it seats up to six people and sleeps four. A double bed with 1.25 m x 2 m lying surface can be arranged on the removable and foldable bed module, which has a full-surface slatted base and a cold foam mattress. Underneath is rear storage space for stowing luggage. The second double bed with a lying surface of 1.25 m x 1.89 m can be found in the pop-up roof and can be loaded with up to 200 kg.

The driver and passenger seats of the Nissan Primestar Seaside by Dethleffs can be rotated. Seat rails are integrated into the oak-look floor and can be used to position up to four individual seats. No tools are required for this. Two of the seats are already included in the standard equipment with longitudinal and backrest adjustment.

Behind the driver’s seat is the kitchen module. This includes a two-burner gas stove and stainless steel sink from Dometic, as well as four drawers and a large roll-up compartment. The sliding table is hooked into the kitchen module when in use and is then located between the driver’s cab and the rear two seats.

To the left is the refrigerator. This is a compressor cooler. A closet is attached to it, the gas compartment and the fresh water tank are also integrated in the module.

All windows in the passenger compartment are equipped with blackout blinds. The rear of the Nissan Primestar Seaside by Dethleffs also features a roof storage box with built-in speakers.
