Roller Team Kronos 279 M (2024): clever layout with eight berths and plenty of storage space in the alcove camper - with 360° tour!

The Italian motorhome manufacturer Roller Team presented its latest vehicles at the last Caravan Salon. Among them is the motorhome Roller Team Kronos 279 M with alcove based on Fiat Ducato. With its eight sleeping options, the model is ideal for traveling with family or friends.

The motorhome has a maximum permissible gross weight of 3.5 t with an exterior length of 6.99 m. The interior has a comfortable headroom of 2.08 m.

Sleeping and living

The main bed of the Roller Team Kronos 279 M is located above the driver's cabin in the alcove and has the dimensions 1.6 m x 2.1 m. A curtain provides privacy here and a window on the side for good ventilation and light. The bed is reached by a ladder.

In the rear area there is a bunk bed consisting of two double beds measuring 1.39 m x 2.16 m and 1.27 m x 2.16 m respectively. A ladder leads to the upper berth, which is placed at 1.50 m height. For additional room height, the upper lying surface can be raised by another 20 cm.

The lower lying surface can be raised thanks to an electric lifting system. If you need more space for storage, you have the option to move the lower lying surface including the mattress against the back wall. When not in use, the mattress can also be completely removed.

This creates a spacious rear garage, which provides enough space for bicycles or other sports equipment. Under the upper bed is a safety wall, which serves as a partition between the living and storage areas. This can also be used to access the garage from the interior.

Finally, there is a possibility that the cozy seating area turns into an additional double bed. This has the dimensions 1.25 m x 1.68 m and is therefore suitable for small passengers and children. The four seats of the seating group are equipped with three-point seat belts, so that including the driver and the passenger, six people can travel in the Team Kronos 279 M scooter.

Kitchen

In the kitchen of the Roller Team Kronos 279 M there is plenty of storage space for food, kitchen utensils as well as dishes and cutlery. A three-burner gas stove, a 135-liter absorber refrigerator and a spacious sink are also available in the kitchen module next to the entrance. As standard, the motorhome is equipped with a Truma Combi 4 gas heater.

Bath

The bathroom of the Roller Team Kronos 279 M convinces with a separable shower cabin, which is equipped with two drain holes. Through the skylight above can be quickly ventilated after showering. The equipment also includes a toilet and a sink including a base cabinet for storing toiletries and towels.

Storage space

In addition to the rear garage, which has a maximum height of 1.35 m, storage space for luggage and equipment also includes a closet behind the passenger seat and wall cabinets above the seating group.
