With the new Arto, Niesmann+Bischoff is presenting a liner with innovative drive technology from Mercedes-Benz for the first time at the Caravan Salon 2024. The series also impresses with its elegant design and upscale equipment.
The Arto is available in two versions, which initially differ in length: Arto 78 and Arto 88. Both liners impress with a complete range of features, with the spacious bathroom and luxurious kitchen standing out. The interior design is dominated by various plastic and natural materials that combine gray and natural tones.
Other highlights include the generous storage options, first and foremost the large garage with a pull-out for bicycles, which can also accommodate a scooter or smaller motorcycle. Even more storage space is provided by the pull-out in the double floor, from where outdoor utensils are easily accessible.

Arto 78 and 88 are offered as fully integrated motorhomes. The Mercedes Sprinter serves as the base vehicle, providing a reliable and powerful foundation.
The dimensions vary, with the Arto 78 being more compact than the larger tandem-axle Arto 88. The Arto 78 is 7,820 mm long and 2,405 mm wide. The Arto 88 is 9,069 mm long and 2,405 mm wide. It weighs up to 5.5 t and has a storage capacity of up to 4,532 liters.
The engine range includes modern diesel units with various power levels and a choice of front, rear or all-wheel drive. The Arto offers sleeping space for up to four people and seating for the same number of people. The driver’s cab is equipped with swivel seats that make the living space flexible to use.
Interior
The interior of the Arto 78/88 impresses with its high-quality interior design and the use of fine materials. The seats are comfortable and ergonomically designed to offer maximum comfort even on long journeys. The sleeping area is located in the rear of the vehicle and offers generous sleeping areas, which vary depending on the model.

The living area is centrally located and equipped with a cozy seating area that invites you to linger.

The kitchen is also centrally located and has modern appliances such as an extractor fan and espresso machine. Both are recessed in compartments behind the kitchen block. The hob combines two gas hobs with an induction plate.

The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet and washbasin and is located in the middle of the vehicle. The spacious bathroom has been thoughtfully designed and offers plenty of space and comfort despite its compact dimensions.

Technology and equipment
The Arto 78/88 is equipped with state-of-the-art electronics, including an on-board computer and various entertainment systems. A powerful heating and air conditioning system ensure a pleasant indoor climate. The water supply is ensured by generous fresh and waste water tanks and a water heater. In terms of safety, the Arto offers numerous assistance systems, airbags and an optional alarm system.
Storage space
The Arto 78/88 offers plenty of storage space both inside and outside. Numerous lockers and a spacious garage allow you to take your luggage and equipment with you. Two bicycles fit easily into the extendable garage.

Exterior
The exterior of the Arto 78/88 is characterized by a straightforward, simple and no-frills design. Typical features include the signature radiator grille and the LED daytime running lights with continuous light signature, which give the liner an unmistakable appearance. The sporty look is rounded off by a rear spoiler with integrated reversing camera and 16-inch alloy wheels in elegant black.
Price and availability
The Arto 88 has a base price of EUR 159,990, while the Arto 78 starts at EUR 138,990. The motorhomes are available immediately and can be ordered through Niesmann+Bischoff’s official sales partners.
