The renowned manufacturer Starvan will be presenting its latest models, the Starvan Cruiser and the Rebel 4×4, at the Caravan Salon 2024. These vehicles are characterized by innovative technologies and tailor-made solutions that have been specially developed for demanding campers.
Both models have been available since January 2024 and offer a variety of special features that set them apart from the competition. The Rebel 4×4 is equipped with fully automatic all-wheel drive and torque vectoring, while the Cruiser impresses with its lower weight and the option of an off-road upgrade.

Technical data
The Starvan Rebel 4×4 and the Cruiser are based on the Mercedes-Benz chassis. The Rebel 4×4 has a 190 hp engine and a 9-G-Tronic automatic transmission, while the Cruiser is equipped with rear-wheel drive as standard.
Both vehicles have a length of 5.93 m, which can be extended by around 1.20 m using the bedroom extension. The unladen weight of the Rebel 4×4 is 3,100 kg, with a permissible gross vehicle weight of 4,200 kg.
The Cruiser is lighter at 2,850 kg and has a gross vehicle weight of 3,500 kg. Both models offer space for two people and have swivel seats in the driver’s cab.
Interior
The interior design of the Starvan models is well thought-out and of high quality. The living area is equipped with a 2-person seating area and a freely swiveling table or a semi-dinette with four seats. As an option, 2 additional belt-secured seats can be installed there.
The sleeping berths are located in the rear and can be extended using the slide-out. The kitchen is equipped with a 70 l compressor refrigerator, a two-burner stove and plenty of storage space.
The bathroom has a separate dry toilet, a shower and an integrated washbasin. The wet room is only pulled out by the slide-out, which allows for a large shower area.
Technology and equipment
Both models are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The standard equipment includes a 160 Wp solar panel on the roof and a 100 Ah lithium-ion battery. The vehicles are equipped with a Truma D 6 E diesel heater with 6000 W output, a 100 l fresh water tank and a 65 l waste water tank. The cold bridge-free insulation and the large storage space under the bed are further highlights.
Storage space
The storage space in the Starvan models is generously dimensioned. In addition to wall cupboards and variable compartments, there is also a garage and a bicycle rack. Special storage solutions such as concealed shelves and heavy-duty rails with a load capacity of 660 kg offer additional space and flexibility.
Exterior
The design of the Starvan models is modern and appealing. Various color options and special features such as solar panels and roof racks round off the exterior appearance. The exterior lighting provides additional safety and comfort.
Price and availability
Each vehicle is customized – which is probably also the reason why no price is given on the website. Both models will be available from January 2024.

The new Starvan models set new standards in the camping vehicle sector. The innovative slide-out solutions and high-quality equipment are particularly noteworthy. These vehicles are ideal for silver-agers and couples traveling alone who value comfort and flexibility.
