At the Caravan Salon 2024, Chausson presented an exclusive on the market: a campervan that combines the features of a family and sports van – for up to five people!
The Chausson Family & Sport Line is a panel van with a standard folding roof and bunk beds in the rear, which provide the appropriate number of sleeping places.
The highlight: the lower bunk bed can be folded up during the journey to make room for up to two bicycles. In combination with a rear carrier for three bikes, a family of five can go on a bike tour.

The Chausson Family & Sport Line from 2024 is a panel van based on a Fiat Ducato. The vehicle is 5.99 m long, 2.05 m wide and 2.65 m high.
The unladen weight is 3,050 kg and the permissible gross weight is 3,500 kg. The campervan is equipped with an efficient diesel engine and has a manual transmission with front-wheel drive.
The panel van has five registered seats and can also sleep up to five people.
Interior
The Chausson Family & Sport Line is a 6-meter-long campervan with a real family layout. The seating group is designed so that five seats with three-point seat belts are possible. This requires the L-shaped bench seat to be converted so that the fifth seat can be placed with its back to the driver’s seat.
In order to provide sufficient sleeping space, Chausson combines a folding roof with bunk beds in the rear as standard in this model.
The most striking feature is the bathroom. The WC and shower are opposite each other and are separate, but can be connected to form a closed bathroom using a clever combination of doors, creating a certain level of comfort in the smallest of spaces. The equipment also includes an outdoor shower.
The kitchen, which is located opposite the seating area, includes a sink, a two-burner gas hob and plenty of storage space in the wall and base units.
Technology and equipment
The Chausson Family & Sport Line has cruise control and speed limiter as well as manual air conditioning in the cab, driver and passenger airbags and height-adjustable swivel seats with two armrests. The seats in the cab have protective covers.
Also included is an ECO package with start/stop system including smart alternator. The diesel heater can also be used while driving.
The vehicle presented at the Caravan Salon 2024 has the Pack Connect on board as an optional accessory. This includes a Bluetooth radio with touchscreen and steering wheel controls as well as a reversing camera.
The optional extras also include the Pack Van accessories from Chausson with awning, solar panel and cab darkening.
Storage space
The campervan offers a surprising amount of storage space, including in the overhead lockers. The fold-up lower bunk bed is particularly practical, allowing two bicycles to be stowed there during the journey. A further three bicycles can be stored on the rear rack.
Exterior
The design of the Chausson Family & Sport Line is modern and appealing, with highlights including the Lanzarote Grey paint finish, the body-colored bumper and the 16-inch alloy wheels in black. The special features also include an electric step that makes access easier.
Chausson has also paid attention to winter suitability. In addition to the diesel heating, the vehicle is also equipped with polyester VPS insulation and double-glazed windows with combination blinds. There are additional windows in the bathroom and at the rear (hinged windows).
Price and availability
The price seems quite attractive. The vehicle described is offered for EUR 62,490 ex works. The exhibition vehicle at the Caravan Salon is priced at EUR 64,725. The Chausson Family & Sport Line is available immediately and can be ordered from authorized dealers.
